Shree Pudu Adharbhut Vidhyalaya is a government school situated in Ramaroshan Village Development Committee, Ward No. 6, Achham District, Sudurpaschim Province, Nepal. Operating under the Ministry of Education, the school serves children from one of the most remote and underserved regions of the country. Despite the dedication of its teachers and staff, the institution continues to face significant challenges that directly affect the quality of education and overall student well-being.

At present, the school suffers from the absence of single-sex toilets, a condition that particularly impacts female students’ attendance, privacy, and dignity. Furthermore, the lack of a library and designated study spaces severely limits access to learning resources and restricts opportunities for academic growth. The existing infrastructure is also inadequate, highlighting an urgent need for renovation and expansion.

Recognizing these pressing needs, the Himalayan Group, through its Krimo Foundation, has undertaken the responsibility of addressing these gaps as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. To date, the Himalayan Group has purchased five ropani of land adjacent to the school premises, earmarked for infrastructural development. Comprehensive designs and construction drawings have been completed, and initial construction work has already commenced.

However, the project faces a considerable logistical challenge due to the school’s remote location. With no direct road access, all construction materials must be transported manually to the site, which has significantly increased the overall project costs. Despite these obstacles, the commitment to improving the educational environment for the children of Shree Pudu Adharbhut Vidhyalaya remains unwavering.

This project aspires to create a safe, inclusive, and resource-enriched learning environment by providing essential infrastructure such as gender-separate toilets, a library, dedicated study areas, and improved school facilities. Through these efforts, the initiative seeks to empower students, enhance learning outcomes, and contribute to the long-term educational development of this marginalized community.
