In Tikapur, Kailali District, the Himalayan Group, through the Krimo Foundation, has taken another step toward creating shared spaces that bring people together. With their support, a new chautara (traditional resting platform) has been built, accompanied by a plantation drive to add greenery and life to the area.
The chautara is more than just a place to sit; it serves as a cultural landmark where travelers rest, neighbors gather, and stories are shared. By combining its construction with tree plantation, the project blends tradition with sustainability, providing shade and a cleaner environment for the community.
This initiative reflects the belief that small, thoughtful contributions can have a lasting impact. Stronger roots, stronger bonds, and a greener Tikapur — that is the vision being realized.
